1. Crushing
In cement plant, most of the material needs to be broken, such as limestone, clay, iron ore and coal, etc. Limestone is the largest amount of raw material in cement production, so the crushing stage plays a very important role in cement plant.
2. Raw material grinding
In cement plant producing each 1 ton of Portland cement need to grind at least 3 tons of materials (including raw materials, fuel, clinker, mixed materials, gypsum). The grinding operation consumes about 60% power in cement plants, among which the raw material grinding takes more than 40%, while coal mill used in cement plant consumes 3%. So choosing the suitable grinding mills in cement plant is very necessary.
3. Clinker, Calcinations and cooling
The calcinations in the rotary kiln is a key step of cement production, it has direct influence on the quality of cement clinker.
